A few days ago, Macallan put its assets where its mouth is, when it auctioned off one of its 13 highly rare Anecdotes of Ages bottles through Sotheby’s New York. The bottle, which is dubbed A New Era of Advertising, is part of a whisky and art collection that was created alongside Blake.
