The fairytale home was rented by the Oscar winner during the pandemic, during which time the Irish seaside village fell in love with him

The gorgeous Irish mansion where Matt Damon was holed up during the pandemic has been sold for $4.2 million.

According to the New York Post, the “fairytale” abode in the Dublin suburb of Dalkey was rented by the actor in March 2020, when he arrived to begin filming his latest movie, “The Last Duel” directed by Ridley Scott.

Sadly, production was suspended due to the pandemic, so the 50-year-old “Good Will Hunting” star and his family — wife of 14 years Luciana and their three daughters — quarantined at the house for two months before returning to New York.
