After just four days on the market, Victor Oladipo’s Orlando, FL, home has found a buyer. The Miami Heat shooting guard scored a quick sale of the property, complete with its over-the-top shoe closet. On the market for $1.8 million, the custom home is currently in pending sale status.
The two-time All-Star purchased the luxury residence in 2016 for $1,274,000, after being drafted by the Orlando Magic.
Just months after he purchased the place, the high-scoring guard was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the years since, the residence probably served as an offseason retreat. At the very least, it was a super-swanky repository for an MVP shoe closet that would put Imelda Marcos to shame.
An entire room attached to the master suite houses the show-stopping closet, which, as photographed, showcases a jaw-dropping sneaker collection.
Despite the rows upon rows of built-in cubbies for hundreds of pairs of shoes, all that storage doesn’t manage to contain the sheer array of kicks, which spill on to the floor and center ottoman. An attached ladder provides a leg up to reach the upper-level shelves, which even a basketball player might have trouble accessing without assistance.

The listing description suggests that this room could also be used as a nursery, if the new owners happen not to possess as much fancy footwear.
Let’s step out of the closet and take a look at the rest of this high-end home.
Located in a “sought-after” gated community close to the Bay Hill golf course, the secluded structure is set on a private peninsula. Built in 2007, it offers six bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and 5,322 square feet of living space.
You enter into an elegant two-story foyer, which fills the space with natural light. Columns are the highlight of the formal dining room, which is graced by a double-tray ceiling and crown molding.
The area flows to a light and airy family room, which offers a gas fireplace and custom cabinetry. Just adjacent, a gourmet kitchen will tempt chefs with a double island, quartz counters, oversized breakfast bar, stainless appliances, an adjoining breakfast area, and a butler’s pantry with a wet bar and wine storage.
The first floor also houses the master suite with the shoe closet. Upstairs, there are four more guest suites, a large entertainment loft area with a wet bar, and a movie theater with tiered seating. In addition, the upper level opens out to a balcony that overlooks the pool.
Outside, the 0.31-acre spread includes a pool and spa, plus a fountain. The backyard also boasts a personal mini golf course, where you can practice your short game.
Oladipo, 29, was selected second overall in the 2013 NBA draft by Orlando. The Maryland native has also played for Oklahoma City, the Indiana Pacers, and the Houston Rockets, before being traded to the Heat in March 2021. He only played four games with the Heat before undergoing season-ending surgery on his quadriceps tendon.
