The custom-built San Antonio estate of George Strait saw a price revision recently. The 12.2-acre property is asking $6.9 million. Strait listed it initially in 2019 with an ask of $8.9 million. That’s a positive bargain, considering the provenance of the property and the degree of attention paid to even the smallest details.
The home was designed by Bill Tull, a notable Southwestern artist who preferred painting to drafting, and the three-bedroom house is certainly compositional. Its architectural elements amount to a conflation of the region, with Pueblo, Santa Fe and Mission elements.
